Restoration also included striping, repairing and painting all composite body panels and tub, replacing all suspension components with new period correct, genuine Porsche parts, replacing all fasteners, wiring, glass, braking system, air jack system, graphics and safety equipment. A new engine management system was engineered by Porsche Motorsports and Motec, and installed by AJR Restorations.
The car was prepped for and ready to run for the 2020 Classic LeMans event until the Covid-19 Pandemic occurred and the event was cancelled.
