SOLD** 2001 996 GT3 RS

This car started life as a 2001 996 Cup car in Canada. She won the GS championship in Canada in 2001 and 2002 with Gordon and Demoulin as drivers. Car evolved into a 996 GT3RS and was the very last and only 996 to run the 2008 Daytona 24 hours. A small Canadian team ran the car in 2008. before that Nonemaker racing ran the car for several seasons. Car has a total of 4!!! Daytona 24 hour finishes, 4th, 9th, 29th and 14th in class. Mechanically the car is sound but the chassis is tired. Close to 70000 kilometers on the clock, so she has been around. Some damage in the rear sustained sometime during its career needs to be addressed again and the body needs restoration. Price with 2008 Cup motor that was new in 2008 and ran Daytona in 2008, but has now close to 200 hours on it and needs rebuild: $54,500.00
